• Hashed password (if using email/password authentication)
• Subscription tier and billing status (managed through Stripe)

• YouTube video URLs and transcripts submitted for analysis
• Analysis results, votes, and comments you create
• Feature usage metrics (analysis counts, claim verifications)

Technical Data

• IP address, browser type, and device information
• Cookies and local storage tokens for authentication

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Process video analyses through our AI/LLM pipeline
• Maintain community features (trust scores, votes, comments, leaderboards)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account verification, billing updates)
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
• Generate aggregate, anonymized analytics to improve the Service

4. AI & LLM Data Processing

When you submit a video for analysis, the transcript and metadata are sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) for processing. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and API terms. We do not use your data to train AI models. Analysis results are cached in our database to improve performance and reduce redundant processing.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• AI Providers — Video transcripts sent for analysis (Google, Anthropic, OpenAI)
• Stripe — Payment and billing information for subscription management
• Community Features — Your display name, votes, comments, and trust scores are visible to other users
• Legal Requirements — When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analysis results and claims are retained indefinitely as part of our global claims database to benefit the community. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed, but anonymized analysis data and claims may persist. You may request full data deletion by contacting us.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to maintain your authentication session (JWT token). We do not use third-party tracking cookies. The Chrome extension stores your auth token in Chrome's local storage and cached analysis results locally on your device.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and secure API authentication (JWT). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential data processing
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
