The Eilat-Ashkelon pipeline, an alternative oil import route for Israel via the Red Sea, was simultaneously disabled by coordinated Houthi actions blocking the Red Sea approach.

The pipeline infrastructure connecting the Haifa import terminal to the northern sector's distribution network was hit and destroyed in the initial phase of the Iranian campaign.

The destroyed port infrastructure in Israel, including Haifa and Ashdod, cannot receive large oil shipments, and the approach to Eilat via the Red Sea is blocked.
