Patriot missile systems, costing a million dollars per missile, are experiencing "leakage" as cheap Iranian drones (costing $20,000-$50,000) are getting through.

Iran bypassed the Iron Dome using wooden stealth drones.

Iran has fired off more than 2,000 one-way drones since the United States and Mistral started attacking it on Saturday.

Iran is producing drones for about $30,000 a piece.

If defense systems have to shoot three, four, or five Patriot interceptors to knock down one drone, the cost becomes 15, 20, or $30 million per $20,000 drone.

Missiles that cost $1-2 million a piece a few years ago now cost $2-3.6 million to replace.
