Governor Newsom signed an executive order last year telling his administration to create comprehensive plans to help boys and men in K-12 education, employment, and mental health.

Two bills have been introduced to Congress to create a men's health strategy and office, and to help men with mental health after fatherhood (the Men Matter bill).

Virginia is set to create the first commission on boys and men, to sit alongside the commission on women and girls, if the new governor signs it.

Governors Newsom, Whitmer, Moore, and Cox have serious initiatives to promote boys and men.
