The Sheskharis terminal is part of Transneft, a Russian company involved in pipelines and oil export infrastructure.

The Sheskharis terminal has a capacity of 3.5 to 4.5 million tons of crude oil, equivalent to approximately 1 million barrels per day or 35-40 large tankers per month.

The Sheskharis terminal accounts for approximately 20% of Russia's total marine export of oil and petroleum products, including diesel fuel and fuel oil.
